The Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts is a place to create, experience and live the arts. Our mission simply states: To provide opportunities to create and enjoy the arts.
The Center for the Arts provides an array of programs in the Arts for people of all ages. Classes are offered for the beginning to advanced student in dance, visual arts, ceramic arts, piano, guitar, voice, theater, silversmithing, plus a variety of workshops and more!
Every one to two months, the Center for the Arts features new exhibits of local, national, and international artists, in a variety of art forms. Two thousand people visit the gallery each year.
“Battle of the Walls” is an art exhibit displaying the work of high school students from Carbondale to Rifle. Scholarships are given to worthy student artists.
We encourage everyone to be a member at the Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts. Membership entitles the bearer discounts on classes, facility use fees,
concerts, and other special events. Members receive the Center’s weekly e-blasts to stay informed of Center happenings. Our membership roster includes over 1,000 members.
Our facility is available to rent for arts-related purposes, birthday parties, weddings, meetings and other special events.
Center hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and weekends, 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
